This page sets out how content on What Peptides is produced. A site that publishes concentration arithmetic and purity thresholds should be able to explain both where the numbers come from and where it deliberately stops.

Research

Each page starts from a search intent: what someone actually wants to know when they type a peptide term into a search box. We identify the molecule or concept, the context it appears in (chemistry, cosmetic, research supply, supplement), and the decision the reader is trying to make. Pages that cannot answer those three things are not written.

Source rules

• Primary or authoritative public sources only: PubChem, NCBI Bookshelf, UniProt, PDB and PDB-101, FDA and European Commission guidance, WHO, NIST, and peer-reviewed literature with a retrievable identifier.
• No invented identifiers. If a DOI or accession cannot be checked, the reference is not used.
• Structural and physical constants are cross-checked against at least two sources where the two exist.
• Manufacturer literature is quoted as manufacturer literature, never as established fact, and always attributed.

Compliance boundaries

Peptides sit squarely in YMYL territory, so the boundaries are fixed rather than negotiated. No human or animal dosing: no amounts per day, no per-kilogram figures, no cycle lengths, no schedules, no routes of administration. No therapeutic or outcome claims: no treating, curing, fat loss, muscle gain or anti-ageing promises, no before-and-after. No purchase encouragement and no payment for placement. Words like price, discount, shipping and refunds appear only in FAQ answers, never as headings. Reconstitution material is written as arithmetic and label literacy for research documentation and states plainly that it is not a preparation protocol.

Review and updates

Every page carries a last-reviewed date. Reviews check figures against the cited source, confirm that internal links resolve, and re-read the page against the compliance boundaries above. Substantive changes are dated; cosmetic edits are not.

Corrections

Errors reported through the contact page are checked against the original source. Accepted corrections are applied and noted on the page.
